AEM Short Ram Intake part # 21-733C (thru Marken Performance) fits the 2011-2013 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5L 5 cylinder. On the dyno, part # 21-733C produced an estimated additional 7 horsepower at 4,200 rpm and 9 pound-feet of torque at 4,200 rpm over the factory air filter box and air intake tubes.
The 21-733C short ram intake system, including a heat shield, relocates the AEM Dryflow air filter to the front of the engine compartment and with the help of powder coated aluminum air intake tubes it is able to make use of the cool dense air coming from the stock cold air intake scoop. This AEM short ram intake comes equipped with a non-oiled AEM Dryflow air filter 21-203DOSK, which delivers high airflow, excellent filtration, and exceptional engine protection. The mandrel bent aluminum air intake tubes are powder coated in a charcoal gray color for durability and a factory look.
