Hurst Shifters now has Comp Plus Shifter (# 3910205) for all 2015-16 Mustang models equipped with a Getrag MT-82 6-speed manual transmission.
The latest Comp Plus Shifter features a ‘multi-link-type mechanism’ which is used to achieve a balanced short throw shifter that maintains a favorable shifting experience. This technology incorporates a reduction in throw by 38 percent, and even incorporates the trigger rod as the ‘pull-up reverse lockout collar’ for reverse lockout. Enthusiasts will also find the classic Hurst finishing touches, such as CNC machined billet steel parts throughout its construction, and the use of Hursts’ classic white shift knob.
