Hooker now has a complete mount and exhaust solution for swapping the extremely popular GM LS engines into 2nd generation GM F-bodies (Camaro/Firebird). The 1970-74 and 1975-81 F-Bodies have different subfloor designs, so Hooker developed specific engine mounting brackets to optimize fitment in both model ranges with multiple suspension fitments. Built to work with this application specific mounting system, Hooker now offers full and mid-length mild steel Headers available in Black Paint, Silver Ceramic, and Black Ceramic coatings. They provide maximum component clearance, ground clearance, and room for large-diameter exhaust tubing. The full length Headers are available for 1975-81 Second Gens while the mid length Headers fit all Second Gen model years.  
In addition, stunning full length stainless steel Headers are now available. These Headers are configured with all new proprietary components exclusive to Hooker including investment-cast flanges and collector attenuators as well as one-piece formed merge Collectors that increase exhaust gas velocity for improved power.

 ADAPTERS  FOR  SWAP
 
 Part # 12612HKR facilitates the installation of any LS style GM engine into a 75–81 year model GM F–body vehicle.  Integral part of the complete Hooker swap system for this application. Components feature unique design geometry that is not compatible with any other brand of transmission crossmember or headers.
 
  Features

 • Installs onto stock 1972-up clamshell mounts without the use of adapter plates.
 • Fully compatible with Holley LS swap oil pan and accessory drive brackets.
 • Provides an engineered 3 to 3.5 degree engine/transmission inclination angle that is critical to obtaining usable U-joint working angles (especially in lowered vehicles) when used in conjunction with Hooker LS engine swap transmission crossmembers for this same application.

Component features unique geometry that is not compatible for use with any other brand of engine mounting components.  Direct bolt-in installation on 70-74 subframes; installation on 75-81 subframes requires four horizontal holes to be drilled in subframe sidewall; no hole sawing or vertical drilling required.
