The sway bar end links on the 2000-2009 4WD 2500/3500 (Diesel and HEMI) are prone to wearing or pounding out, and, even breaking when the truck is lifted on 2-post vehicle lifts due to the stress of the axel dropping. BD's Sway Bar End Links have a Dual Pivot Design that allows for greater amount of articulation and less stress.
BD Diesel's exhaust manifolds were designed with expansion joints and heavy webbing to prevent cracking. The exhaust runner design maintains exhaust velocity to drive the turbine wheel. Runner size does not go beyond the size of the exhaust ports on the head because when the runners are larger, the velocity to drive the turbo is lost due to the expansion and temperature in the exhaust manifold reduces the turbine drive pressure needed for turbocharger response. BD’s SEMA Award Winning (for Dodge) 1-Piece Stainless Exhaust Manifolds do not require the expansion joints because of the ability of the Stainless Steel to withstand higher heat without cracking.

BD Diesel's Exhaust Brake has an exclusive Variable Butterfly Technology, providing peak retarding power throughout the engine’s rpm range unlike some models that rely on a hole/orifice within the butterfly to calibrate back-pressure only in the higher engine RPM. The Butterfly is constantly exercising thus reducing the possibility of carbon and rust deposit forming that can cause premature ware and binding. Furthermore no maintenance or lubricating is required providing miles of trouble free service. Stainless steel butterfly shaft that has proven to stand up under the harsh, high-heat conditions of the exhaust environment. Edelbrock has come up with these great E-Force Supercharger systems that deliver optimum horsepower and torque in a complete, street-legal kit that fits under the factory hood (no special aftermarket hood required in some cases) The core of each system is the Eaton Gen VI 2300 TVS® Supercharger rotating assembly with some upgrades to the 2650 TVS® (with a 170° twist). The Modular Mid-Rise intake utilizes the popular Holley LS1/LS2/LS6 cathedral port Mid-Rise 2 x 4 intake manifold along with a purpose built plenum base adapter and a Holley 92MM EFI plenum top which converts it into a Mid-Rise EFI intake manifold which is available from your Holley Canadian dealer Marken Performance in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Converting from carburetor to EFI is easier with Holley’s new multi-point EFI systems. K&N engineers looked at the vehicle’s air box (the container that houses the air filter) and any hoses or duct work connecting it to the engine. Because the air must first travel through this system before it reaches the carburetor or throttle body, the overall size and shape of the system has a profound effect on air flow. Air, like water, does not like to turn corners nor does it react favorably when confronted by an obstruction such as a sharp bend in a hose or a baffle. In many cases, the air box and/or the hoses and duct work used to create the air filtration system is just as restrictive as the original paper filter element. In some extreme cases, the air box and/or the air delivery system is the greatest source of restriction. The inlet to the air box is a good example. In many instances this opening is one half the cross sectional area of the throttle body or carburetor opening. It would be like trying to run a marathon while breathing through a soda straw.
K&N's premium wrench-off Performance Gold line of automotive and marine canister oil filters were developed to meet the high performance demands of race applications. They have rapidly become popular for their canister strength and durability. These canister style oil filters are designed to handle higher oil pressures than a standard oil filter and can be used with the latest synthetic motor oils. Most of these premium automotive and marine canister oil filters come with a 1 inch welded nut on the top that makes removal easy. We use thicker canister walls for extra strength and durability which reduces the risk of damage from loose rocks and debris. The durable construction will withstand higher oil pressures found only in racing environments without bursting. The drilled hole on the nut is for a safety wire attachment. Required for many types of racing, the safety wire prevents blown oil filters from falling on the track and representing a hazard to other race vehicles.

The MSD 6AL Ignition Control set the standards that other ignitions strive to reach. The wiring is all routed out one end of the unit through a sealed and locking connector. This eases installation and keeps your wiring looking neat and clean. The rev limiter was moved right on top of the housing for easy access to the two rotary dials to set the limit in 100 rpm increments. MSD has an updated and improved version of the popular ignition control box and has come out with a special “LS” line for LS Engines. Part # 6014 is Red and # 60143 is Black --- they both replace part #’s 6010 or # 6012. New features of the LS Ignition Control Box include; high speed data acquisition, an optional coolant temperature sensor input, idle timing control, as well as individual cylinder timing. These features are in addition to the existing programmable step retard, launch retard and RPM rev limiters from its predecessor.

The MSD LS Atomic EFI kit integrates the fuel rails with the engine management computer itself. This has a superior advantage in that it virtually eliminates most of the wiring harness associated with an EFI engine swap. By having the computer co-located with the fuel rails, it also cools the electronics, another bonus. The injectors of the throttle body can support approximately 625 horsepower on naturally aspirated applications.
For Nitrous fans, a wet system (one that supplies its own fuel to compensate for nitrous) must be incorporated. From the Atomic handheld monitor you'll be able to program a target air/fuel ratio that will be used when the nitrous is activated. There is also a timing setting that will retard the timing during nitrous activation as well.
Boost: The throttle body incorporates a 2-bar MAP sensor and can manage up to 14-psi of boost. There is value for a target air/fuel ratio during boost on the handheld monitor as well as a timing retard that is based off timing per pound of boost.
