About Us

Marken Performance and Restoration Inc. was founded in April 1995 by Mark Drinkwalter and Ken Hopcraft.

The business was first located on Kingsway Drive in Kitchener. After one year. Mark Drinkwalter became the sole owner. The business was growing and moved to a larger location on Manitou Drive. This location worked well for six years. The business needed to expand again.

In 2002 the business moved to its current 3500 square foot location at 123 Ottawa Street in Kitchener. This location is still working well with a full time counter-person servicing a 1000 square foot showroom offering Domestic and Import Performance parts and accessories, as well as truck and 4x4 parts.

The fully equipped shop has 2 licensed technicians and apprentice with over 40 years of combined experience. The shop has ample room to comfortably service 5 vehicles. Some of the specialty services include installing ALL parts we sell, engine swaps, welding, tire and rim installation, truck lifting/lowering, custom exhaust and professional ring and pinion installation.

Seeing the need for a Chassis dyno equipped with an Eddy Brake, in 2007 Marken Performance has stepped up and installed one. This also adds another service of custom computer programming for fuel injection. Of course this dyno has the function of measuring torque and horsepower to see what that recently added performance modification has done for you at the rear wheels.
