Are you suffering from burnt spark plug wires or plug wire boots? This can happen when the engine compartment reaches sustained high temperatures or because of the close proximity of your plug wires to your headers. This is a common problem with endurance racing, high powered truck or van engines and recreational vehicles.
The perfect remedy to keep your wires and their boots protected from heat while maintaining maximum performance is a combination from ACCEL. Our ACCEL Extreme Heat ceramic boot spark plug wires feature our high performance 500 Ohms/ft 8mm Ferro-Spiral core RFI suppression wires with ceramic boots on the spark plug end, heat resistant to 2000° Fahrenheit. The double silicone construction that insulates the wire resists up to 600° Fahrenheit.
To double your spark plug wire protection to 1200° F, use ACCEL pro sleeve fiberglass braided wire protective sleeve wire guards.  Part # 170079 comes complete with heat shrink tubing to seal the ends in a 25 ft spool, to fit 7 and 8 MM wire.  Simply measure and cut the sleeve to length as needed, remove the boot, slip the fiberglass braiding on, and reinstall the boot.

ACCEL decided to do a Before and After Dyno Comparison on a 2 Valve 2004 Mustang GT.  The baseline dyno test netted 236.9 hp and 273.0 ft-lbs of torque. After installing the Accel ignition coils we got 243.6 hp and 280.0 ft-lbs of torque, a solid gain of 6.7 hp and 7.0 ft-lbs. The gains were realized all the way across the board and provided us with a noticeable seat-of-the-pants change.  Call Marken Performance @ 1-888-401-1362 to get yours.
ACCEL’s Super Coils are available for all of the Ford modular engine designs; the 2-Valve (# 140032140032-8), 3-Valve (# 140033140033-8), and 4-Valve (# 140034140034-8) are all well-represented in the product line. In addition, they are even producing Super Coils for the 5.0L Coyote engine (# 140060140060-8).
The housings feature high temperature epoxy that is designed to resist shock and vibration as well as chemicals, all of which are present in the engine bay environment. They have special silicone magnetic steel cores, an optimized winding method, and better-than-factory resistance and turn ratios. Molded in ACCEL yellow with brass secondary contacts.  What does this mean to you? In short, they are capable of providing 10-15 % more spark energy to the plug than an OEM coil pack – improved ignition energy helps to complete the fuel burn in the combustion chamber.
