Hot of the presses is this Afe Momentum sealed intake for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette with the V8 engines.  PRO 5R (part # 54-74201) or Pro DRY S (part # 51-74201) from Marken Performance.  This all new Momentum sealed intake system resulted in +18 HP and +22 lbs. x ft. TQ max gain and outflowed the factory intake by 42%.  This one-piece sealed housing is used to eliminate the use of multiple components housings and ensure the coolest air intake charge available.  This system uses a CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit.  This tube has a built-in resonance chamber to catch unwanted air intake noises, and two billet aluminum fittings are mounted on the tube to connect perfectly with the factory vacuum lines. 

   A large clear sight window allows for filter inspection without removal of the air box.  The roto-molded housing is made out of black cross-linked polyethylene and mounts directly into the factory location on the fender well to capture the coolest air available from the factory intake tract.

Cover housing available (part # 54-12219) from Marken Performance.  This Stage-2 intake system resulted in +11 ‪‎horsepower‬ and +15 lbs. x ft. ‪torque‬ max gain and out flowed the factory intake by up to 38%.  This highly engineered system features a one-piece, durable 18-guage, powder-coated heat-shield that snaps into the bottom of the factory air box and a 3” mandrel bent, wrinkle-black powder-coated aluminum intake tube.  Improving airflow further is a large 7” tall washable/reusable conical air filter.  The air filter frame is constructed using a 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.  The ‪‎air filter‬ uses a unique (patent pending) flange retention design that requires no hardware to mount the filter to the heat shield providing a quick hassle-free installation with minimal hardware.
