The MSD new Blaster Ignition Coils for LS engines are based on the OEM form and fit but have been engineered with improved materials to improve the efficiency of the coil to promote durability and endurance. The Blaster LS coils bolt on to the factory coil brackets as well as most aftermarket brackets and accept the factory sealed and locking connector. The Blaster LS Coils are available for a number of LS-based engine platforms ranging from the original LS1 to the high powered LS9 and several truck specific applications. Since these coils are spec'd by the R&D team at MSD, you can be sure that you're getting a high quality replacement coil for your late model car or truck engine.
