K&N® part # 63-2586 intake system upgrade for 2013-15 Ford Fusion 1.6L Ecoboost Turbo yields +5 HP, +5 TQ.  It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing.  K&N intakes are designed to dramatically reduce air intake restriction as they smooth and straighten air flow. This allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine’s RPM range.  The 63-2586 air intake comes with a K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that installs into the original air box space.  Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube and into the turbo inlet for a guaranteed power gain.  The tube accommodates the factory emissions control devices including the inlet air temperature sensor and EVAP vent line.  The oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed, depending on driving conditions. 

  

 

  

 

  

   K&N’s part # 71-2591 Blackhawk Induction air intake system fits 2015 Ford F150 with a 5.0-liter V8 and features a blacked out Dryflow synthetic K&N air filter.  On the dyno, it produced an estimated +11 horsepower at 4,500 RPM and an estimated additional +12 lb-ft of torque at 3,700 RPM.  It replaces the restrictive factory air filter box and air intake tubes with a free-flowing, mandrel bent aluminum air intake tube to help minimize restriction and air intake turbulence.  The mandrel bent aluminum intake tube is finished in a durable flat black powder coat for a bold look under the hood.  In stark contrast to the black intake tube is a welded and engraved aluminum K&N nameplate.  The 2015 Ford F150 5.0L Blackhawk Induction air intake system incorporates an application specific black powder coated air filter heat shield to help deflect engine heat away from air entering the engine.
