K&N XStream Air Flow Top filter part # 66-1400R is made with fewer layers of cotton to provide even more airflow and less restriction than a standard XStream air flow top. This XStream Air Flow Top filter lid has a 14 inch outside diameter featuring a durable black powder coated metal trim ring with K&N logos embossed around the rim. This race-only X-Stream air flow top is ideal for road courses, oval tracks, or the drag strip where only minimal engine protection with almost unrestricted airflow is sought after. Race-only XStream air flow top, 66-1400R, is cleanable and reusable using standard K&N air filter service products. It can be run oiled, or dry, for racing on paved surfaces only.
K&N pavement only race air filter, part # E-3032R, utilizes special 2-ply cotton gauze and is built in a common 14” outside diameter. To help clear the hood of race cars using high-rise intake manifolds, blowers, or those that just have little room to spare, E-3032R is only 2” in height. The inside diameter of this race-only air filter is 12-1/4 inches. K&N race-only 2-ply air filters will straighten turbulent airflow without adding noticeable restriction and are still able to offer an engine protection from track dust and debris.
