The K&N # 71-1542 Blackhawk Induction Air Intake System is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent air intake system that fits both the 5.7L & 6.1L Hemi engines.  K&N’s dyno yielded an estimated +14 HP & +13 TQ on a 2014 5.7L Dodge Challenger. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on some 2005+ Dodge Challenger/Charger/Magnum and Chrysler 300/300C models.  This K&N Blackhawk Induction Air Intake System comes with black components including the K&N high-flow air filter and heat shield. The attractive textured black powder-coated tube features a welded, engraved K&N plate giving you a clean, high-performance look under the hood. The intake tube accommodates the factory inlet air temperature sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone shaped air filter is made from an oil-free synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed depending on driving conditions.
