     MAF Conversion Kits and adapters: 

  

   The Spectre 87051 3-inch outside diameter universal mass air sensor adapter is made of durable co-polymer ABS resin with a chrome exterior finish and protects the intake tract from exposure to heat. It includes a 3 MAFS pads for multiple sensor configurations. Not for turbocharged or supercharged engines, it can be combined with other 3-inch tubing to create an intake for just about any application. It is suggested that it be used with coupling collar # 8706 or with standard flexible couplers. 

   The Spectre 9705 4-inch aluminum mass airflow sensor adapter kit is designed for drop-in style mass airflow sensors on 2004 and later vehicles and to be used to create a custom air intake. The kit features an outside diameter measurement of 4-inches by 4-inches long and includes a polished aluminum tube with ABS components and all the necessary hardware. The kit contains two flow calibration tubes that are 76-millimeters and 89 millimeters that reduce the 4-inch intake system to the proper diameter at the sensor to retain calibration. 

   Designed for GM LS series engines, the Spectre 7153 airflow sensor conversion kit adapts boot-in GM sensors into drop-in blade style GM airflow sensors in three wire systems. 

   The Spectre 7155 converts a boot-in GM sensor to a drop-in blade style GM sensor in five-wire systems. 

   The Spectre 81403 is a universal mass airflow sensor adapter that permits a 4-inch inlet or a 4-inch intake tube with coupler to attach to the mass airflow sensor or a Chrysler, Dodge, or Mitsubishi vehicle. 

   The Spectre 81413 is a universal adapter that permits the connection of a mass airflow sensor with a 3-inch flange to the mass air sensor housing.  It includes universal bolt hole configuration for multiple applications. 

   The Spectre 8145 mass airflow sensor adapter changes factory mass airflow sensor on Ford engines to a custom 4-inch intake system for sensor tubes with bolt hole dimensions of 3.5 inches by 2-7/8 inches.

   The Spectre 8146 mass airflow sensor adapter changes factory mass airflow sensor on Ford engines to a custom 4-inch intake system for sensor tubes with bolt hole dimensions of 3-7/8 inches by 3-1/4 inches. 

   The Spectre 8705 3 inch chrome airflow sensor mount has a coupling collar and is made of triple chrome plated co-polymer ABS resin so it can insulate the intake tract from exposure to heat. 

   The Spectre 87051 is a 3 inch outside diameter universal mass air sensor adapter that is made of co-polymer ABS resin and a chrome exterior finish so it can insulate the intake tract from exposure to heat. 

   The Spectre 9405 3 inch aluminum mass airflow sensor adapter kit fits a majority of GM, Ford, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, and other vehicles with drop-in style mass airflow sensors. 

   The Spectre 9705 4 inch aluminum mass airflow sensor adapter kit can be used with drop-in style mass airflow sensors on 2004 and later vehicles. 

   The Spectre 9774 intake coupler and sleeves for GM mass airflow sensors changes the majority of boot-in style GM mass airflow sensors to a 4 inch intake system. 

   The Spectre 990003 intake couplers and sleeves for GM mass airflow sensors includes a 3-5/8 inch to 4 inch sleeve to extend and change the majority of boot-in style GM mass airflow sensors to a 4 inch intake system. 

   

     Intake Tubes: 

  

   Spectre Performance also offers the deepest and widest assortment of intake tubes that can be used to design and build a custom one-off air intake system.  The tubes are available in various sizes and are made of a variety of materials. Many Spectre tubes include a 6063 grade polished aluminum finish and many tubes are mandrel bent. There are:  2.5 inch outside diameter tubes; 3 inch outside diameter tubes;  3 inch outside diameter ABS Tubes;  3.5 inch outside diameter tubes;  4 inch outside diameter tubes;  5 inch outside diameter tubes.  The tubes are made from various materials and come in all kinds of configurations and degrees of bend.  Y-tubes have 6-inch long legs  and 90°, 100°, or 110° leg degree angle, Extended Y-tubes feature 16-inch long legs and 120°, 130°, 140°, 150°, 160°, 170°, and 180° Y-pipe angles. 

   2.5 inch tubes made of aluminum and features various tube angles including straight, 22°, 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 100°, 110°, 120°, and 180° “U” bend tubes. 

   3 inch tubes are available in aluminum and chrome ABS with an assortment of tube angles including straight, 22°, 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 100°, 110°, 120°, and 180° “U” bend. 

   3.5 inch tubes are made of aluminum and come in a plethora of tube angles including straight, 22°, 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 100°, 110°, 120°, and 180° “U” bend. 

   4 inch Tubes are made of aluminum and come in an array of tube angles including straight, 22°, 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 100°, 110°, 120°, and 180° “U” shaped bend, S-style bend tubes, tubes with mass air flow sensor adapter, Y-tubes, extended Y-tubes. 

   5 inch Tubes are made of aluminum and come in various angles including straight, 22°, 30°, 35°, 40°, 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 100°, 110°, 120°, and 180° “U” bend. 

  

     Couplers & Reducers: 

 

   To join your intake tubes, Spectre also has PVC, EPDM/TPE, and silicone couplers and reducers.  

   Spectre silicone couplers reducers come in red, blue, and black so you can match the color of your engine components. These couplers and reducers will work with naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and supercharged engines with high temperature and boost requirements. The couplers feature three layers of polyester reinforcement and can resist temperatures up to 385° F.  Inlet diameters are 2.5 inches, 3 inches, or 5 inches and weigh 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4 pounds. 

   The 4 inch PVC couplers and reducers come in red, blue, and black. They feature a 4-inch inlet diameter and weigh 0.5, 0.8, or 1.1 pounds. These couplers are not suitable on pressurized components including turbocharger or supercharger outlets. 

   The Spectre 9741, 9742, and 9746 intake reducers connect a 4-inch outside diameter component or air intake tube with a 3-1/2-inch outside diameter component or intake tube. They 3-inches long and include two stainless steel worm gear hose clamps.

   The Spectre 9761, 9762, and 9766 intake reducers connect a 4-inch outside diameter or air intake tube with a 3-inch outside diameter component or intake tube. They are 3-1/2-inches long and include two stainless steel worm gear hose clamps.

     

     Water Neck:

  

   If your thermostat housing oem water neck outlet is pointed in the wrong direction, Spectre has options to fix this.

   Option 1 is part # 4939 which is a swivel design LSX water neck can be used on any 1997 or newer LS vehicle application. The swivel designed thermostat housing allows you to position the outlet of the water pump to your desired location for the best fitment. The 30-degree neck can be rotated 360 degrees to point in any direction, accommodating LS engine conversions where the water pump thermostat housing may be in a position other than the factory location. 

   Option 2 is part # 4932 which is a straight LSX water neck can be used on any 1997 and later LS vehicle application that requires the water neck point straight forward. The water neck is made from polished aluminum and is designed to use OEM style thermostats. Stainless steel bolts are also included in Spectre 4932 for installation.
