Federal-Mogul Fel-Pro Performance Header Gaskets are burn resistant with a rating of up to 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit. They feature multiple layers of embossed steel, so the gasket acts like a spring which maintains contact pressure and allows the gasket to maintain a seal. Each layer of the gasket is made of the same material, the difference is in the embossing – depending on the application, some layers are embossed while others are not.
Here is 3 different part numbers available for the Chevy Big Block: # 1495 for 1.920” port size, # 1496 for 2.15” port size, and # 1497 for 2.285" port size.
