Airaid has come up with a Cold Air Dam system for the 2013 Focus ST and its turbocharged 2.0 ltr EcoBoost engine. Consisting of Cold Air Dam panels and a new performance filter, this new system unlocks 10 horsepower and 12 lb-ft of torque with no tuning required! The AIRAID® Cold Air Dam panels replace the upper half of the restrictive factory intake box, while snapping into the lower half in order to take advantage of the factory cold air inlet ducts. The supplied weatherstripping seals the panels against the bottom of the hood to keep hot engine compartment air away from the filter while providing a forward-facing opening for additional cold air to enter the filter. The AIRAID® premium filter is a direct replacement for the factory paper element and offers additional surface area for significant airflow improvements. In fact, this filter can serve as a stand-alone drop-in replacement for the factory airbox.

Available in either SynthaFlow oiled (#450-181) or SynthaMax non-oiled (#451-181) filter media, the filter is constructed of specially blended urethane material that will not crack or warp over time.
