ARP has delivered these latest fasteners: the long-sought-after 1/2-13 studs with a rounded “nut starter” nose for manual GM cars to guide the transmission into place and align the input shaft with the clutch disc hub, which are now available thru Marken Performance to make installation easier when putting a manual transmission in most any GM car through the ‘80s. The studs are also hex-broached for ease of installation.
ARP has also introduced case bolts for Muncie 4-speeds (1963-68 and 1969-75), as well as bell housing bolt kits for 1962 and later Mopar big blocks and 1965-on Ford small blocks.
All are available in polished stainless steel or black oxide finished 8740 chrome moly steel; both are nominally rated at 170,000 psi tensile strength and substantially stronger than Grade 8.  Additionally, there’s a choice between hex and 12-point heads for the bolts or nuts.
