For warped flanges and high heat resistance, use Mr Gasket's extra-thick Aluminum Layered exhaust gaskets for collector and exhaust manifold gaskets. These high performance exhaust gaskets are manufactured from "dead soft" aluminum layers totaling .125" thick and available thru Marken Performance. Compresses to .060" thickness which translates to a tight leak-proof seal. This material is great for sealing exhaust manifolds with intense surface irregularities with use of “Dead Soft” aluminum construction: conforms to the flange surface and reduces pitting and warping. It works without the danger of shrinking, deteriorating, or blowing out.
