These K&N Drag Racing air filters utilize a dry, 2-ply cotton gauze filter media and a large surface area to help minimize restriction and increase airflow to these heavy-breathing motors while still protecting the motor from dust and debris available on-line from Marken Performance. All of these drag racing filters are washable and reusable so they don’t have to be replaced over and over again like disposable paper air filters and are backed by K&N’s One-Year Limited Warranty.
The K&N 28-4235 air filter is 6 3/8 inches tall and tapers from 11 inches in diameter at the base to 9 inches at the top. It’s designed for use in popular Formula Atlantic and Super Vee style cars used in racing today and it can fit into many racing air scoops.
If you have a 9 inch outside diameter air filter assembly, you can help your engine to breathe easier by installing the K&N 28-4245 at 3 inches tall, or go big with the 28-4240 air filter at 5 inches tall for even more airflow and performance. You can also replace the lid on your 9 inch assembly with the K&N 66-0900R X-Stream Air Flow Top to pull in more air for even greater performance efficiency.
For a complete assembly with a 5 1/8 inch neck flange carburetor or throttle body, run the K&N 66-3340R Drag Racing Base Mount Scoop Filter. This assembly incorporates the 28-4235 air filter with an X-Stream Air Flow Top for a complete package of improved performance.
Choose the 66-3300R or 66-3310R if you’re running a 7 5/16 inch Dominator-sized carburetor or throttle body and need a tapered filter assembly to fit in your scoop. These two assemblies both use the 28-4235 air filter and an X-Stream Air Flow Top to help increase airflow, performance and efficiency. The 66-3300R incorporates a lower-profile baseplate than the 66-3310R, which helps ease fitment in applications with cramped quarters around the air filter.
For 7 5/16 inch Dominator-sized carburetor or throttle body applications where a tapered filter isn’t necessary, K&N offers the 66-3330R and 66-3320R Drag Racing Base Mount Scoop Filters. Both of these assemblies have a 9 inch outside diameter air filter and X-Stream Air Flow Top, and come with different heights to help fit your needs. The 66-3330R comes with a 3 inch tall filter and the 66-3320R comes with a 5 inch tall filter for even more airflow and performance.
K&N # 69-5311TTK air intake produced an estimated additional 16.6 horsepower at 4014rpm and 29.9 pound-feet of torque at 3119 rpm over the factory air intake system. That's a substantial gain for a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder motor. It fits the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Couple 2.0 liter turbo. The 69-5311TTK air intake is a high-quality performance upgrade. It utilizes a mandrel-bent aluminum intake to help streamline airflow into the turbo inlet and also provide a better engine and turbo sound. The system incorporates a heat shield to help protect incoming air from heat under the hood and also maintains use of the factory fresh air duct.
K&N # 69-1212TS Typhoon air intake fits the 2013 and 2014 Honda Accord V6. It produced an estimated 7.4 horsepower at 5429rpm and 8.6 pound-feet of torque at 4415rpm over the factory air intake. the 69-1212TS Typhoon air intake utilizes a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube to help minimize restriction and streamline airflow into the engine. The aluminum tube is protected with a durable silver finish to help ensure that your intake looks sharp under the hood for many, many miles to come. Air intake 69-1212TS also incorporates a heat shield to help protect air entering the engine from radiant heat under the hood.
K&N # 69-4524TS Typhoon performance air intake system fits 2012 and 2013 Chevrolet Sonic 1.4 L Turbo. On the dyno, the 69-4524TS intake system produced an estimated gain of 7 horsepower at 5474rpm and 7.8 pound-feet of torque at 3467rpm to the wheels. The 69-4524TS Chevy Sonic air intake utilizes a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube to help streamline airflow and it’s powdercoated silver for a sleek look under the hood.
