New from Thermo-Tec, via Marken Performance, a high-tech heat barrier with an anodized gold finish. Anodizing makes the aluminum foil finish stronger and more durable. The gold surface handles radiant temperatures up to 1800ºF, reflects 80% of radiant heat.
The e-glass insulation side handles continuous temperatures up to 300ºF, with a strong adhesive backing for easy application. The attractive gold surface is ideal for use on firewalls, under hoods, the undercarriage, fiberglass fairings, cold air intakes, or anywhere else heat protection is needed. The anodized gold looks great, is incredibly durable and protects surfaces from the damaging effects of radiant heat.
The Kevlar Heat Barrier is made from Kevlar with a Mylar finish. The Barrier can withstand up to 3000 degrees F of radiant heat and can withstand direct contact up to 800 degrees F. Improves driver comfort and protects engine components. Reflects 90% of radiant heat, up to 3000 degrees fahrenheit.
